It’s funny how things just fall into place.
Back in 2013, Alisha was out and about with her girls in NYC and just so happened to come across Patrick at a local sports bar. It started with a little conversation, followed by a drink and maybe a few shots. The two parted ways and agreed to get together again later in the week for dinner, which led to another date followed by yet another exploring NYC’s restaurants and speakeasy bars. Just a few years later, the two realized they were soulmates and decided to tie the knot.
Alisha and Patrick got married at The Imperia in Somerset New Jersey. They opted to have an Indian Wedding and mix in a bit of both cultures throughout the day. I had a wonderful time photographing this wedding and spending time with both Alisha and Patrick. I had a ton of ideas and the couple was the perfect fit for me, as they gave me whatever time I needed to experiment and capture some really beautiful shots. My favorite is of the two in between the staircases at the foyer of The Imperia. Thank you guys for being so cooperative and trusting throughout the day!
