05.30.10 Dipali and Jay Reception | NJ Indian Wedding Photography

Saturday, June 5th, 2010

After a gorgeous and emotional ceremony we finally got down to some serious business partying! The team at the Princeton Hyatt converted the ceremony room into a reception ball room complete with a huge dance floor. The boys at Raaz Entertainment set up their sound and lighting for the evening. Dipsi and Jay brought in an amazing bar made completely out of ice! This this was amazing! The drinks stayed cool and the awesome glow from all of the LEDs made the bar just a pleasure to look at. Evenings of Elegance planned an amazing event, and nailed every last detail to customize this once in a lifetime event.

The food and desserts were fantastic. Palace of Asia kept the dishes coming in one after another! For wedding vendors like us, this is a nightmare! If we keep eating all this phenomenal food we will need to work extra hard to stay in shape! Dipali and Jay danced the night away with friends and family, these guys really know how to get down! Here are some of the photos from the evening:

5.30.10 – Dipali and Jay’s Indian Wedding

Thursday, June 3rd, 2010

Sunday morning the sun came up and Dipali was already getting ready for her big day. We started bright and early at 6:00am at the Princeton Hyatt, and joined Dipali as she got her hair and make-up prepared by the team at Amorous Designs . They had 4 talented Hair and MU Artists brought in to keep things moving fast. You may remember this venue from Niket and Nirali’s Indian Wedding in April. This venue is great for larger parties, if you are looking to have an Indian wedding in NJ, talk to Anthony Valente, he will make sure your event is on point. Make sure to call Dharmi at Evenings of Elegance for the planning!

As Dipali got prepared for the ceremony, Jay was bringing the noise outside during his Baraat. His groomsmen, with vodka fries still brewing from in their system’s from the night prior, danced and shouted so everyone knew the groom was making his way to the wedding! The couple exchanged garlands after Dipali’s Mother greeted Jay and we moved inside to the grand ballroom to get ready for the wedding. Jay did not stand a chance against Dipali’s family, his shoes were gone instantly! The groomsmen were caught off guard! The wedding ceremony itself was very insightful; the Maharaj translated the ceremony in great detail. For decor, Evenings of Elegance brought in Abhishek USA to set up the ceremony area. It really was a beautiful ceremony, check out the photographs from this Indian wedding.

04.10.10 – Nirali and Niket’s Reception

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

Now that the wedding is officially over it’s time to cut loose!

After a long morning of preparations and an emotional wedding, Nirali & Niket were all set to celebrate for the first time as Husband and Wife! Their reception hall at the Princeton Hyatt was decorated by Elegant Affairs and light up by Dj Magic Mike. The cocktail hour (or two) took place in the atrium as well as the lobby outside the reception hall. There were 4 bars set up to keep the guest’s glasses full.

Nirali and Niket caught the guests off guard with a surprise first dance! After slow dancing for about a minute or so, the DJ cut the record and put on a classic wedding song, Sir Mix-A-Lot’s Baby Got Back! The dance floor was officially open and the party kept moving from the reception hall to the bridal suite for an after party. These guys were a blast to work with.

04.10.10 – Niket and Nirali’s Wedding

Sunday, April 18th, 2010

Just a few hours after the sangeet was finished, and even less hours after the after party, Nirali & Niket were getting ready for their big day. Ronak and I spend the entire weekend at the Hyatt, having rooms when doing a longer event is very important, especially when you have laptops, cameras, batteries, stands, lights and a million other things that need attention.

We started the day bright and early, with Nirali getting her hair and make-up done, moving on to some formal couple shots, family photos and a few outdoor shots. Niket’s baraat was held outside at the roundabout behind the Hyatt. The weather was perfect, not too hot, not too cold, and once Dj Magic Mike came through with the music and live Dholi, the party officially started.

Moving into the venue, the team at Elegant Affairs did an amazing job in transforming  a standard  ballroom into a warm and comfortable environment. Once the couple was officially married the emotions began to run high. Here are some photos of Nirali & Niket’s wedding…
