08.21.10 Nisha and Ryan’s Engagement | Event Photography

Friday, August 27th, 2010

Relax, it’s a party. That was the atmostphere over the weekend at Nisha and Ryan’s Engagement. Super laid back, good music, good food and an open bar. Nisha and Ryan got engaged at the Chutney Mary in NJ. The boys over at Distinctive Sounds provided music for the event, super big shout out to Dj Pulse for always doing a great job. Dj Pulse was also the DJ at H. Dhami’s live performance at LQ, as well as Nirali and Niket’s Sangeet.

Now back to the couple, these two really got some verbal torment when Nisha’s Dad grabbed the microphone.

“Nisha and Ryan have gotten really close over the past few years, after Nisha had moved I found out that they have both relocated to the same area in New Jersey, it was actually the same city, later I found that they were on the same area, how nice, then I found that they were on the same street, then in the same building, and now on the same floor, I will stop it at that and just say that these two are really close.”

Pwnd. Nice one, Pops. I am sure he will bring his A game to the wedding for his speech.

When the music started everyone hit the dance floor. We had set up an area for group shots, and between the dancing and partying, friends and family eventually made their way over to get some photos taken. We had a great time photographing this couple, and are looking forward to offering our services for their wedding next year. Congrats Nisha and Ryan!

07.24.10 Nirali and Ambrish Reception| Indian Wedding Photographer

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

After a very loud and crazy baraat ceremony, emotional wedding, and very yummy lunch (yes, photographers eat too!) it was finally time to pump up the music and hit the dance floor. Nirali and Ambrish changed outfits and came back to Rasoi III for a night they will never forget. As the evening progressed, the sky started to darken and the sun setting allowed Rasoi to be illuminated with a warm, golden light. The bar was officially open and the party began. DJ Prophecy from SAX Entertainment provided music entertainment that kept the crowd partying until the very last minute. A good DJ is very important to any wedding, without good music, you won’t have fun. I love photographing a fun loving crowd, and Kevin Bhatt made sure the guests were having a great time. Enough with the chatter, here are some images from Nirali and Ambrish’s Indian wedding reception:

Isn’t it great when a friend gets married? Last week our good friend Ambrish took the plunge and marriend Nirali at the recently opened Rasoi III in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey. We have been her a few times in the past, it looks like we will be here a lot next year.

Nirali started her morning getting hair and make up done with her friends and family. It really doesn’t hit you until you start putting on your wedding attire that the big day is actually here, and in just a few hours you will be married! The Baraat Ceremony started bright and early, and even at 9:00am, Indian people are ready to party. Their wedding was held inside the main hall. Enjoy these Indian wedding photos.

05.31.10 Sheena and Ankush Reception | Indian Wedding Photography NJ Hyatt

Tuesday, June 15th, 2010

After a very sunny and windy wedding ceremony, Sheena and Ankush got to unwind a bit and celebrate their beginning of their new lives! After a few touching speeches and a very emotional toast, the couple had their first dance. Everyone could see their happiness, Sheena was just glowing!

Dj Raj and his team lit up the ballroom with amazing bright ambient up lighting that swapped colors throughout the evening. Their sound system was superb, and it literally tore the roof down, pieces of the ceiling began chipping away as the bass hit!

Friends and family hit the dance floor and the bartenders kept the drinks flowing. The folks at the Jersey City Hyatt serviced the party well. Good food, good music, great couple!

05.30.10 Dipali and Jay Reception | NJ Indian Wedding Photography

Saturday, June 5th, 2010

After a gorgeous and emotional ceremony we finally got down to some serious business partying! The team at the Princeton Hyatt converted the ceremony room into a reception ball room complete with a huge dance floor. The boys at Raaz Entertainment set up their sound and lighting for the evening. Dipsi and Jay brought in an amazing bar made completely out of ice! This this was amazing! The drinks stayed cool and the awesome glow from all of the LEDs made the bar just a pleasure to look at. Evenings of Elegance planned an amazing event, and nailed every last detail to customize this once in a lifetime event.

The food and desserts were fantastic. Palace of Asia kept the dishes coming in one after another! For wedding vendors like us, this is a nightmare! If we keep eating all this phenomenal food we will need to work extra hard to stay in shape! Dipali and Jay danced the night away with friends and family, these guys really know how to get down! Here are some of the photos from the evening:

What happens when you have a bride in Texas, groom in California and the families over in NJ? Simple, just plan your wedding from across the country and fly in for the party….easy right?

Sheena and Ankush decided to get married with friends and family at the beautiful waterfront Hyatt in Jersey City. They brought in wedding planner Jyoti Soni to help with making all the arrangements, and to keep the wedding moving along smoothly. Sheena started the day around 10:00am getting her hair and make-up done by the talented Rita Sutar.

Ankush arrived with his family on horse along side 2 dholi drummers. They rocked the waterfront area dancing and singing all the way to the outdoor ceremony. It was terribly windy, and the original mandap was not going to stay put, so the guys at Mandap Design quickly revised their original plans to better suit the conditions. After the ceremony, Sheena and Ankush finally could releax and begin to enjoy married life. Their Indian wedding was a lot of fun to photograph. Here are some of the highlights from their wedding:
