This is a post going out to wedding couples that have decent budgets, but aren’t allocating the funds correctly.
Reliable
Cheap
Fast
Pick 2.
Lets define the options.
Reliable- This is subjective to what you consider good. After interviewing your possible photographers and taking a look at their prints, albums and getting a better idea of who they are, you will have to decide if what they offer is good for you and your style. Good also refers to the quality of your photos. A lot goes into making sure a photo is exposed well, colors are vivid and contrasty, focus is sharp and the overall image is well composed. If your photographer is good, he will be on point, and will nail the important shot without fail. If your photographer is not good, he will not be able to nail that once in a lifetime shot, which is not good because you really don’t get a redo at a wedding.

Outside of shooting models and event photography, we do a bit of family photos as well. New born babies are a lot of fun to photograph. They are only that tiny for a short period of time so get some photos while you still can! Before you know it they will be asking you for the keys to the car! Most new born shoots are extended, you never know when the baby will be ready for it’s close up.
Check out a few quick snaps of 2 month old baby Pujaa.

Whenever we are shooting a reception with low lighting we notice the guests are firing away photos and then looking at the backs of their cameras with a confused, nearly frustrated look.
Guests sometimes tap us and ask us which camera they should buy because their current camera is not good at taking photos. In most cases, it is not the camera, but the settings being applied to the camera.
Your camera is a tool, and using it in auto is really not the best way to get the best results. The camera is on auto, it finds focus and using its tiny flash it illuminates the subject the best it can. The end result is a poorly light photo that looks like it was taken in some sort of dark cave. Take the plunge and get out of auto!

Wait, a boat? Italian gondola theme? When Nirav told me the story of how he proposed to Tejal, it all made sense. Nirav proposed marriage to Tejal while they were vacationing in Italy on a gondola, is that romantic or what?! Thanks for raising the bar! They celebrated their engagement at the Zembo Shrine in Pennsylvania. Prior to the engagement, the couple hosted a three hour tour, a three hour tour…(sorry for the Gilligan’s Island reference). The boat ride allowed the two families to get to know each other a bit, they played some games, had some food and chatted up a storm. The Zembo Shrine is an amazing venue. You could not ask for a better day. The sun was shining and the weather was just right. Going into the evening we were not ready for all the bright stars that filled the sky, coming from NJ/NY we don’t really get that so much. Take a look at their pics!
