You spend everyday of your life with your family, but most of us never even think about getting a family photo unless we are at a Sweet 16 or somebody’s wedding where we huddle together and get a snapshot.

It is interesting how South Asian families generally don’t make it a point to take a family photo as other cultures do. Any holiday you will find the malls filled with American families lining up to take a family photo to send out to their friends and family. We just don’t do that, and that needs to change.

This blog post is just a bunch of recent photos taken for Friends/Family/Clients. The summer gives us some great weather, and amazing opportunities to get people together for a nice photo. Take advantage of it while you can, the summer won’t last and before you know it, the kids will be off to school/college, parents will be retiring abroad, and all you will have is that dark fuzzy photo from some party years ago. Sorry for the emotional post, losing a family member is never easy, and sometimes I wish I had stepped back and taken some special shots of with family while they were still around.

Call your photographer, or grab a friend that has some photography skills and capture some beautiful shots of those you admire most.

New born babies are a lot of fun to photograph. They are only that tiny for a short period of time so get some photos while you still can! Before you know it they will be asking you for the keys to the car! Most new born shoots are extended, you never know when the baby will be ready for it’s close up.
